Dear Ann and John, Thank you for this nice week in Merlot. The weather was really nice and we visited a lot of things and nice villages like Sete, Meze, Beziers, Narbonne and Pezenas. But the most beautiful place is here at Merlot in this nice little village where you can relax and enjoy your holidays. We were in the pool every day. Thank you John for lots of helpful tips and thank you Ann for this delicious cake. We felt that you both make a great effort to give good holidays to all your guests. The house is very nicely furnished and very comfortable. We will think about  coming back although we do have to drive more than 1200 km. Thank you very much. Marcus, Steffi, Marius and christina.

Dear Ann and John, Thank you very much for a lovely stay in your villa. Home from Home. We saw water jousting in sete and explred Nimes. We spent time at Valras Plage and at Cap d’Agde. Pont du Gard was impressive and the kids enjoyed swimming in the river and “cliff jumping”. St Guilhem le Desert is worth a visit and is very pretty. William. Ps Thank you for the cake.

A very relaxing week, the villa is fantastic for adults and children. Thank you John for being very kind and helpful, you have a beautiful villa in a friendly little village. We really enjoyed visiting Meze and Pezenas for fish and wine. One of our highlights was visiting a vineyard with Oliver and trying some delicious local wines. We hope to return soon. We’ve really enjoyed our stay here at Merlot. The village Aumes is beautiful and quiet. Perfect place to hide away from our busy lives for a bit. The beach at Meze was ideal for little toddlers, a gentle sloe into the sea although watch for jellyfish! The village has a useful little shop which sells bread and croissants. Perfect to visit daily with a very enthusiastic toddler to get some breakfast. Many thanks for a relaxing holiday Merlot. Chris and Rachel.

A lovely week had by all, a perfect getaway in beautiful surroundings, very comfortable and homely accommodation, we have all really enjoyed relaxing by the pool, we would all definitely return to this area. We’ve enjoyed our two weeks here in Aumes, the villa Merlot has everything you need. We’ve been to this area before but  this is the nicest accommodation we have stayed in. John is very helpful, nothing is too much trouble and thank you Ann for the delicious cake. Thank you for a lovely holiday. Les, Rosemary, Gray and Maxi the dog.

We’ve had a lovely week in Merlot. 100% sunshine! The villa has everything you need, really well equipped and comfortable, air-con a big plus. Everyone enjoyed the pool, the children didn’t want to get out. We loved sitting on the terrace in an evening with our drinks, relaxing. We did manage to visit some great places. St. Guilhem le Desert, easy drive and great scenery. We loved the little port at Meze with all the boats and a great little beach. We also enjoyed Pezenas and the old town in an evening. We will definitely come back to Aumes again, can’t wait! All the best. Gaynor, Paul, Samual and Lily.

Spent a lovely week at Merlot. Didn’t venture out much as weather excellent, so stayed by pool. Most nights we went into Pezenas and can recommend the food and atmosphere at the Royal Glacier on the old square opposite the Maison d’Artes. On the one rainy day we went to Minerve, a bit of a drive but pretty village. The shop in the square at Aumes has most top up things you need, make sure you order you bread for the next day though. Thanks again John and Ann, from Nick, Paula, Daisy, Pheobe and Oscar.
